IMN Explores Whether Auto Dealers Can Replace SEO with Social Content at the 2012 Digital Dealer Conference

WALTHAM, Mass. – October 17, 2012IMN, the digital marketing company that delivers branded email newsletters and content for vertical markets, today announced details of its participation at the 13th Annual Digital Dealer Conference and Exhibition. At booth #715, IMN will be previewing updates to Loyalty Driver, the most widely-used digital marketing service for automotive dealerships, which leverages custom-created content to engage and engender loyalty between businesses and customers via email newsletter.

IMN's chief architect, Bill Peña, will present a session entitled, "Can You Replace SEO With Social Content?" Pena's presentation will focus on the role of content –newsletter and social – as both become important signals in determining search position. The session is designed to provide dealers and managers prescriptive steps to understanding their customer and prospect information needs, engagement patterns and subsequent effects on SEO.

Attendees of the session will learn valuable best practices to implement at their dealerships, including:

  • How to examine the intersection of search engines and social media and its impact on user engagement.
  • How to structure marketing campaigns to encourage social sharing and drive search engine results.
  • The dos and don'ts for creating social content that drives website traffic and leads.

Additionally, Bill will be taking part in one of Digital Dealers' Learning Labs. New to the Digital Dealer Conference this year, these specialized labs provide dealership attendees more face-to-face time with leading subject matter experts. Given the importance of creating relevant, timely content to keep customers informed, communicate sales offering and keep buyers coming to your store, Bill is participating in a lab focused on email newsletters. Bill will discuss how to use newsletters to effectively influence customer behavior, while counseling dealers on how they can improve their current practices in this area.
