Beginning with March 2012 production, the horn button on the key fob will be colored in red to move effectively highlight this feature. Note that vehicles that are not equipped with an alarm system (option 302) do not receive the horn button on the key fob. This will be a running change on certain models – 3 Series sedan, X3, 6 Series Gran Coupe, 5 Series sedan and GT, 6 Series couple and convertible, and 7 Series sedan.
