The 2010 Volvo XC60 Takes Home 2010 International Truck of the Year Honors
Versatile crossover is a perfect match for any lifestyle.

When you build an all-new crossover vehicle that combines the best elements of European design, modern luxury and spectacular safety, you raise more than a few eyebrows. When that same vehicle wins the title of 2010 International Truck of the Year, you know you’ve accomplished something very special – something that few other automakers can claim to match. The 2010 Volvo XC60 midsize crossover utility vehicle has managed to accomplish each of these feats in the very short period it has been on the market.

The 2010 Volvo S40 Tilts at Premium Compact Crown
Suave looks, easy to manage size and generous power make this sedan one to watch.

There’s an old saying that goes something like this: find your niche and happiness will follow. With so many cookie-cutter premium cars on the market, each attempting to play follow the leader with tepid design and styling, it’s nice to know that not every automaker is interested in revisiting the same tired concepts over and over. The 2010 Volvo S40 is a testament to the Swedish brand’s willingness to break new ground when it comes to compact luxury sedans.

The Tempting World of Discount Paint and Bodywork
The price might be right, but the cost down the road will more than make up for any apparent savings.

There are few things more disheartening than walking up to your vehicle in a parking lot only to realize that someone has put a sizeable ding or dent in its side, or perhaps used your bumpers as feelers during an aborted parking attempt. Even worse is having to deal with the type of damage left behind by someone carelessly rear ending you at a stoplight, especially if their love tap was hard enough to crack bumper covers and displace sheet metal.

Hooray for Bollywood
The Volvo XC90 R-Design makes its silver screen debut in India.

Volvo’s XC90 R-Design makes a big-screen cameo appearance for the first time in India. A red Volvo XC90 R-Design crossover shines on the silver screen in the Bollywood film 3 Idiots, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The picture, released December 25, was one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year in India, and many industry insiders are dubbing it the Best of Bollywood in 2009.

A Twilight Drive
Volvo Cars awards new XC60s and C30s to the winners of its "What Drives Edward" contest.

Sure, he drives women crazy, but what drives Twilight’s Edward Cullen? Turns out it’s a Volvo. And with Volvo’s “What Drives Edward” online contest, lucky winners worldwide got a chance to get in the driver’s seat and win the same wheels Edward drives in the Twilight movie series.
